  Its a good place to get exercise, bring your children to play (2 spots one is gated for smaller children) feed the ducks and even play tennis. There are some downs about the homeless but they are clear on the other side we don't even park over there and they don't bother you when you do walk by them. They are just trying to make it. Lakeside is not a bad town. It is what you make it I have lived here since I was seven and the only thing that has really changed are the stores and less farm animals walking around. Lol. Its one of the peaceful cities not jammed with people and freeways. Only have two and they are on the outside of Lakeside 67 highway & 8 freeway. Try it out for yourself.
